Google faces Wall Street revolt

GOOGLE is facing a Wall Street rebellion as investment analysts demand that the internet search company provides regular financial forecasts after a series of blunders that have sent its share price on a multi-billion-dollar rollercoaster ride for the past three months.

Google decided before listing on Nasdaq that it would not provide earnings guidance to Wall Street, and that investors would simply have to trust the company’s strategy.
